Today marks the start of a great era, the era of Blu-ray!
Toshiba, one of the main backers to HD-DVD, has decided to pull out of the controversial format war between HD-DVD and Blu-Ray. Obligatory quote:
” it will no longer develop, manufacture and market HD DVD players and recorders.”
So now all you lot who bought HD-DVDs are now pedaling a dead technology.
Viva Consumer choice!
Half Term is a time for study …. yea right.
Its a time to sit around and watch anime!
Been watching Excel Saga, bloody hilarious. Now I finished that, I’ve found "Lucky Star." Once you get past the mind numbing first episode, it is actually quite funny and witty. Once again here is a description from the Great Wikipedia :
The Lucky Star anime, produced by Kyoto Animation, aired between April 8, 2007, and September 16, 2007, containing twenty-four episodes. Lucky Star’s story portrays the lives of several girls attending a Japanese high school named RyÅÂÅÂ with a very loose sense of humor. The setting is mainly based on the city of Kasukabe in Saitama Prefecture.
Its rate good like.
I actually found some time to post something 😀
Things have been rather busy in my life for the past few weeks so I apologise for the lack of posting.
To be honest my life seems to revolve around exams now 🙁 , which just ain’t cool… for school.
You may have noticed that some of the Winter decorations are still up on the site. Now it is not due to my laziness that they have not been removed…. it is due…. to the horses! Yes…. They will be removed shortly, if not now… so why am I writing this?
My parts came for my computer which work well, except for the second HDD. I don’t think it is a fault, but the drive spins down then spins up again, every now and again (a lot of agains there 😛 ).
Also! My check from Google came 😀 . £50.98 will be winging its way into my bank account soon.
Finally, I’ve bought myself another anime box-set called “Excel Saga.” Â For those who are lazy and cant be bothered to search Wikipedia, here is a brief explanation about what it is about:
Excel Saga is a comedy manga series by Koushi Rikudou, and a TV anime series directed by Shinichi Watanabe. Both the anime and the manga are absurdist comedies following the attempts of Across, a “secret ideological organization”, to conquer the city of Fukuoka as a first step towards world domination.
Until next time, Sayonara.
